The Creative XR and Robotics Research hub, is transforming the way XR and Robotics technologies interact with society to:

• Empower plurality of voices, co-designing with diverse communities.
• Build on human and robot vulnerabilities, using phygital and embodied intelligence.
• Deploy in ways that build more equitable and sustainable societies.

We view XR and Robotics in a creative continuum, that collides phygital and embodied experiences in the creative industry, performance arts, well-being and healthy ageing for a more equable and sustainable society and future of work.

Key Activities

We explore and develop:

• Design Research Methodologies to co-design with vs. for diverse communities.
• Phygital and Robotic Prototypes through a vulnerabilities and embodied intelligence lens.
• Speculative, critical and innovative ways to deploy for more equitable and sustainable societies.

We are collaborating closely with a diverse group of global organisations including higher education institutions, research institutions and companies.
