The project explores the development of a culturally sensitive stand-up comedy robot designed to perform live comedy while adapting its humour to diverse social and cultural contexts. The aim is not only to entertain, but also to examine how humour functions as a social tool in human–robot interaction and how robots can engage audiences respectfully across different cultural settings. Through this approach, the project highlights the potential of creative robotics to support inclusive, context-aware communication and to expand the role of robots within artistic and social environments.
